Carving pirouettes and figures or simply gliding leisurely over the ice - on the artificial ice rink of the Ludains Ice Arena classic winter sports are also very much the thing in summer. This has been made possible by a cleverly-placed new building which blends into the gap between the historic riding hall and the existing Ludains Ice Arena. The result is a covered year-round ice rink with the additional feature of meeting Olympic standards and offering space for top athletes as well as for spontaneous summer guests. The skates can be rented directly on site during the daily opening hours. And for those who still feel a little insecure on skates, experienced instructors are available to guide their first steps.
