The region of Graubünden and the Engadine with its magnificent mountain scenery is ideal for ski tours. What a pleasure to climb a mountain or a hill through the quiet snow landscape using your own strength, off the beaten track of mass tourism. Early in the morning with the first rays of sunshine, strap on your skis and off you go. Beginners, inexperienced ski touring fans and those who are not familiar with the terrain are best advised to book a guided tour with a professional mountain guide who is familiar with the area. We recommend the following tours:
Piz San Gian, from St. Moritz
Challenging, wonderful ski tour on the north side of the Rosatschkamm – only in safe weather and snow conditions. Duration approx. 4 hours. Mainly on the north side, therefore mostly out of the sun, but always with a magnificent view. Starting point is the parking lot in front of the Hotel Kempinski in St. Moritz.
From the Crystal Hotel it takes 5 minutes by car and 10 minutes by public transport.
To the Corn Suvretta
Easy ski tour which takes about 3.5 hours and involves almost 800 meters of altitude difference. With fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Starting and finishing point of the tour is the parking lot of the Alp Giüglia on the Julierpass road.
From the Crystal Hotel it takes 13 minutes by car and 20 minutes by public transport.St.
